A laid back pub in the heart of one of the most up and coming suburbs of Brighton, the Good Companions is a traditional pub in Seven Dials boasting a gastro secret and plenty of garden flair.
Whilst the interiors may be relatively new by dating standards, the Good Companions manages to retain an air of Twentieth Century boozer charm with exposed fireplaces, vintage posters and paraphernalia dotted about the walls, broody dining area's with dated furniture and original period features. If you're not discovering the grandiose lounge area's inside, you might find yourself sunning in up in their rear beer garden and front terrace; good companions to these beer gardens make indeed.
Great for gastro grub in the city, this Brighton pub harbours a name face in its kitchen midst. Having dabbled in Michelin dining Harry McGann has worked with some of the top chefs in London, bringing his own dash of continental flair to seemingly traditional pub dishes. With eight handpumps on at any one time and Sussex brewers always the pick of the day, the Good Companions promise to do their locals proud.
